I haven’t been kidnapped…

I just realized that pretty much this WHOLE summer has gone by without me posting a single thing! Really it was a very busy summer….

This happened (YAY ME)…

Then I turned 40…. or rather I celebrated the 19th Anniversary of my 21st Birthday!

But there’s been a LOT of photography happening too! Please feel free to check it out by visiting my Fine Art Gallery on my business website!

New Photos!

Soooo How was your summer? What’s happening with you guys?

One Photo … Two Ways

The way a photo is edited can do a lot to change the feel, mood and general view of a photo! All part of the creative process.

I often like to look at a photo I like two different ways… whether it be a simple edit or drastic differences!!

Below I am posting an image I captured today … created with two very different feels!

Which do you prefer?

Beneath the Rocky Exterior

Sometimes you need to look beyond the rocky exterior to see the beauty within. On a recent local hike up Lantern Hill my husband inadvertently kicked over a larger rock. I looked at it from afar and was wondering what the orange blobs on the bottom of the rock were. Upon closer inspection I discovered the beauty hiding underneath…

I think I am one lucky gal!

You gotta stop and appreciate the world beneath your feet… or boots in this case!

Montana on my Mind…

Recently I had the privilege to travel to Montana to photograph the wedding of two beautiful people who I hadn’t ever met in person before but instantly felt like I had known forever… a true blessing to be a part of their special day and the days leading up to it!

I also was fortunate to have some time to site see and travel around the Bozeman, Montana area! I instantly fell in love with the raw beauty of the area. The contrasts between the flat plains and rising sharp mountains… a photographer’s dream!

In the coming week or so I will be sharing a bunch of photos from my trip!

Here’s the first one! It is also available for sale in my Fine Art Retail Gallery online…

This was an amazing Teepee I saw on the banks of the Gallatin River near the Bride and Groom’s home… there will be a lot of photos from this area because it was FULL of inspiration!
